HERE I AM

Here I am, here we are, seeing ourselves again for the first time.

I imagine it will not be the last; it’s certainly not the original first, but a subsequent one, with ever fresh shapes and forms and structures. Loss and change; are we familiar enough with these cycles yet? Accepting the Saturnian responsibilities etched with Uranian freedom designs, swirls and tendrils that reach for a new sky?
Add a pinch of Pluto (ha!) laying a creative foundation pulled from the Capricornian traditions of excellence and stress. We are definitely in pioneering territory. New earth, spiritual frontiers to explore. Awake whether we want to be or not, from recurring nightmarish belief patterns that won’t quit until we let go, to the cool refreshment when we surrender to truth.

As I walk through the forest, acorns crunch and like the people falling to earth from the Mother and Father trees, some will be crushed underfoot, some will be winter sustenance for squirrels, some will take root, perhaps to grow into a mighty shape. What fate will you choose? To be your powerful Self, grounded deeply in terra firma, spirit revelling in the visceral earthly life? Will you bring shelter and comfort, shade and strength, symbol and stature to the environment that surrounds you? Will you tower above others, simultaneously growing with them, knowing you need their collaboration to continue?

It is ours to create, this life. Not in any black and white,linear manner, rather with multi-dimensionality and most of all with Love. Again, not the love that is a feeling, here and gone, but the Love, the energy and force that sustains and unites us all.

There is pain in that Love for it is grounded in loss, made real when we must stay connected in the truth, not the illusion. And so, to heal, one must feel (again ha!) and bind together once more, the shadow and the light, the gift and the wound, the feminine and the masculine, the desired and the feared. For they were never separate, as we know intellectually and now must practice this truth in the physical realm.
